This program is in addition to prenatal care received from family physicians, midwives or obstetricians. Also, in our community, the North Bay General Hospital provides a prenatal assessment to all women at 28 weeks gestation.

Through the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Program pregnant mothers receive home visits from a Public Health Nurse and a trained home visitor.
-
Information about good nutrition during pregnancy is available Nutrition During Pregnancy
