WHAT
-
The Registered dietitians of the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit provide nutrition information to the public by telephone and through the mail. Areas in which we provide nutrition information include: general healthy eating information based on Canada's Food Guide, Reading Food Labels and Healthy Eating on a Budget. The type of information we can provide is certainly not limited to these topics only. However, keep in mind that the Dietitians at the Health Unit do not provide one on one counseling services. If you require counseling services or have a question which the Public Health Dietitians at the Health Unit cannot answer then they will refer you to other nutrition services within the community.
